Metals & Heavy Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) Make Used Motor Oil Hazardous

Generally, the new motor oil that you have will have a nice clear, caramel, brown color to it. Scientists have identified that this new oil has light hydrocarbons. After your oil has been lubricating your engine, it is filled with more hazardous contaminants.
During the combustion process, there are various gases emitted. Over time, tiny particles of your engine might be shed and these metals will accumulate in your used motor oil. Experts have discovered that metals and Heavy Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) make your used motor oil more hazardous.
