Powertrain Coverage

Engine

All internal lubricated parts, cylinder block and heads, factory-installed turbocharger or supercharger units, flywheel, fuel pump, manifolds, oil pan and oil pump, thermostat, thermostat housing and gasket, timing chain cover, timing gears and chain or belt, valve covers, water pump.

Transmission
All internal parts, torque converter, transfer case, and transmission case.

Seals and Gaskets
Seals and gaskets are included only on vehicles with up to 90,000 original miles at the time of contract sale. All seals and gaskets relating to engine, transmission, and drive-train components are covered unless the failure is a result of overheating, lack of fluid, or lack of lubrication.

Front Wheel Drive
Axle shafts, final drive housing and internal parts, front-wheel bearings, locking rings and automatic front locking hubs (four-wheel drive), universal and constant velocity joints.

Rear Wheel Drive
Axle shafts, drive axle housing and internal parts, drive shaft, rear-wheel bearings, retainers, universal and constant velocity joints.

Base Coverage

This plan includes the components listed below, plus all Powertrain Plan components.

Powertrain
Diesel injectors pump, gas fuel injectors, pump and lines, harmonic balancer and bolt, rear axle hub bearings.

Steering
Control valve and cylinder, cooler and cooler lines, couplings, linkages, manual and power steering gear housing and all internal parts, power steering pump, seals and gaskets.

Front Suspension
King pins and bushings, linkage and bushings, spindle and spindle supports, stabilizer bar and linkage, upper and lower ball joints, upper and lower control arms, control arm shafts and bushings.

MacPherson Struts and Tie Rods
MacPherson struts and tie rods are included only on vehicles with up to 90,000 original miles at the time of contract sale.

Brakes
All lines and fittings, backing plates, calipers and wheel cylinders, clips and retainers, combination valve,master cylinder, parking brake linkage and cables, power booster, self-adjusters and springs.

Factory Air Conditioning
Clutch and clutch bearing, condenser, compressor, compressor seals, evaporator, field coil, and pulley.

Electrical
Alternator, electronic ignition module, heated back glass (electrical only - not glass damage or breakage), manually operated switches, radiator fan relay, starter motor, voltage regulator, wiper motors, and wiring (excluding spark plug wires), and wiring harnesses.

High-Tech Coverage

This plan includes the components listed below, plus all Powertrain and Base coverage components.

High-Tech Components
Anti-lock brake module and sensor, automatic temperature control, compass and thermometer readout displays,electronic air suspension (selected components), electronic instrument cluster (excluding dash pad, clock, radio and equalizer), windshield (electrical only - not glass damage or breakage), keyless entry system (excluding door handles), power seat motors, power window motors, power antenna motor, power door locks and retainer clips, speed control.

Miscellaneous Components
 Diesel injectors and lines, distributor housing and shaft, cap and rotor, engine mounts, fuel tank, transmission vacuum module, electronic transmission module and transmission mounts, air conditioning accumulator, heater blower motor and core assembly, radiator fan clutch and motor.

This coverage is available on our Powertrain, High-Tech & Comprehensive plans. Our toll-free Emergency Assistance hotline is always open to provide the following services:

Tire Road Hazard Protection
Replacement reimbursement when a tire is non-repairable. Includes balancing, cost of comparable tire, taxes,and customary labor charges. Also, provides reimbursement for the repair of a flat tire damaged by a road hazard.

Trip Interruption Coverage
Provides up to $300 reimbursement to the contract holder for food & overnight accommodations in the event of a covered mechanical failure.Special concierge benefits are offered to ease the inconvenience of a breakdown. Please refer to your service allowances & roadside coverage.
